Say it with a Card!!!

Hello Friends,

My son and I thought that it would be great to give his teacher a thank you card for all the help she has been to him throughout the year in his new school. As my son just loves cranking my Big shot he was the one to do all the die-cutting. This project became special for me as we worked on this together and also he enjoyed it so much. I hope you all like it as much as the fun we had making it.
This card required loads of die-cutting as we layered the the 'thanks' 5 times and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then die cut the flowers in 3 different colours for layering and leaves too. Final was the top piece with rectangle stitch die and circle die. Coloured using spray paints and lifted back some of it with water.
Finished by adding black stitch line around the circle to tie in the black sentiment.

Hope you enjoyed this card. Looking forward to see the entries. Have a wonderful day!!!

  5. The teacher will cherish this gorgeous card, Seema! The jewel colors are phenomenal and I love the design you have created! I had a few years of making cards with my twin grandsons before they got too big and I will treasure those years and hope they will carry happy memories of our time in the Playhouse together. Even now, at 13, they will still willingly come out to make a card for their mom or dad on special occasions and I love watching them come up with their own designs!! Hugs, Darnell
