Just for you - One layered card

Hello Friends,

Its true that time flies the celebrations for the new year have just ended and preparations for the Valentines is already underway and here is my first Valentines day card this year. It is a very simple one layered card that reflects the colours of the rainbow and personally for me it represents the joy and beauty a rainbow brings to our hearts.

We have used a simple masking technique. So I stamped the sketchy heart stamp on a piece of post-it note near the adhesive area and then cut it out. Next on the card base I stamped the red heart toward the bottom right, then I used the post-it mask to cover it and stamped the next colour towards the top at an angle and repeated it till all the coloured hearts were stamped.
NOTE: WHen using masking technique you stamp the most prominent or focal image first and then the background images.

Finally I added the sentiment. Hope you like it too.
