Merry Christmas!!! -Acrylic Marbling

Hello friends,

Its that time of the year again and most of us are busy in preparation for the big Holiday Season.... It also makes me look into the year that was and other random things that happened or did not happen... (like me loosing a few pounds) or this new city that has become my new home...Well I can just go on and on. Coming back to this merry time this month at the Happy Little Stampers the theme is 'ANYTHING GOES' now I wonder is this an easy theme to work with or a difficult one!! I don't know!! makes me wonder what should I make as my mind gets bombarded with things to do and it becomes difficult for me to choose... Does this happen to you too?

So this time I chose to try something very simple but absolutely new to me skill 'Acrylic pour'. I have been watching loads of videos on this topic and it has taken my fancy and I am in the middle of some experimentations but for this I chose to make a acrylic marble design. I am new to this but this particular canvas was fun and I loved the colours of the christmas.

Insider info: This was a horribly painted canvas that I reused....please do not share my secret!!!

I have used not additives just a little water to thin down the acrylic paint to get it to move.... and believe me this a messy project but great fun too.... SO I hope you will try this style and get down and dirty....

Once the paint was dry. I just free handed some ornaments and words in white, added some splatters and holographic glitter as I wanted to highlight the foreground and with so much going in the background white seemed like a good option..

So what say was this helpful??!! please do share in the comments and also in case you want I will be sharing my experiments  with acrylic pour soon so do let me know if that is something you would like me to share.

Supplies:

Have a wonderful day ahead..
