Hello Friends,

Last month has been a roller coaster ride for me personally and until yesterday i wasn't sure if i could do this post but by god's grace here i am sharing this project with you that started before all the havoc started and I am super glad to do so as it signifies that I am back and well on road to recovery. This was inspired by the theme that we have this month at the Happy little stampers Mixed Media Challenge blog. CRACKLE!!

This a fun technique to play with and can render a vintage feel to any project in just about no time and being a person who craves anything vintage I just about love this technique. It allows you to decide what kind of crackles you want big, small or fine and where you want it to appear. It is a fun technique to play with as it is always exciting to see the crackles appear!! Here I share 2 pictures that have different crackle hope you find them interesting.

This is a very simple project where I started with a coat of black chalk paint and then added the crackle medium let it dry. Then came the layer of white chalk paint. Let this dry and enjoy the crackles appearing.

Then I decoupaged with napkins and that is all I did not think of adding much else to this .

Supplies:

DIY Chalk paint black and white
Folkart Home Decor Crackle medium
Decoupage napkin
Decoupage glue
Lace trim from an old dress
Paper rope
School glue (for crackle on the bottle on the left)
Varnish
