Bundle of joy!!!

Hello friends,

This month's theme at the Happy Little Stamper Mixed media challenge is "SPATS". I was very excited about this as there is a technique that i have been meaning to try and share with all my readers and friends however when i sat down to do it; did not come out as i had expected because i was not fast enough so i decided that i will do something else instead and so this is what i made,

I have been thinking of doing a mixed media canvas for my home and this is a photo that is very dear to me as it is of the day when i got my son home. It just is very special a moment and i am sure most of the mothers feel the same way about their kids.

Well i did not use many layers on this and most of the texture in the background was created by using a pallette knife and gesso. then i used to chalk paints too get the matt finish. Used a little bit of silver acrylic powder and a pearlised lemon colour acrylic paint to colour all the chipboard pieces.

used splatters of yellow, blue silver brown and black .
Also used handmade paper flowers and leaves...

The entire list of supplies is given below....
